Trace of our agrarian past

If you visit Sweden and worry about something, people might try to calm you down by saying "there's no cow on the ice".

 I love this expression, a reminder of what is a real problem and what's not. Here, in the cold north where cows and ice used to mix freely (feel free to insert ice cream joke of choice here), a cow on the ice was once an urgent matter.

When there's no cow on the ice, life is ok. Chill. Mooo.
